About the role
This is a full time position based in our Support Centre in Milton.
The Human Resources Advisor, as a member of the Human Resources team, will be responsible for:
Leading projects in one or more HR specialist functions
contributing to human resource policies for consideration by LCC management
preparing written reports on HR activities and achievements
Consulting and advising managers to achieve outcomes, including workforce planning, performance management and resolution of employee relations issues;
Providing direct support, advice and contribution to the HR team regarding planning, development, implementation and delivery of projects and strategies;
Delivering broad HR generalist services to the business;
Critical to your success in this role will be the proven ability to demonstrate:
significant experience in the human resource field;
significant experience coaching and supporting managers to achieve business outcomes
capacity to work with a high degree of autonomy
a speciality in one of more of the following; workforce planning, mediation, conflict resolution, organisation development, and employment law.
The incumbent must also:
be capable of forming effective and congenial working relationships with co-workers;
be capable of managing their own workload, including overlapping priorities, and meeting deadlines;
have the ability to clearly communicate and articulate HR goals and visions at all levels;
have well-developed research skills; and
produce written material of a high quality.
In addition you will:
possess a tertiary qualification in human resources, law or a related field
have a high level of personal responsibility for the quality of your work output
You will be required to successfully complete a pre-employment medical prior to any offer of employment.
Our Support Centre, located in Milton, provides specialist advice to our services in areas such as finance, human resources, corporate communications, information technology as well as clinical governance.
