About the role

This is a full time position

As Cleaning and Laundry Supervisor you will be responsible for:

  • Supervising, motivating, coaching and mentoring team members in a manner that promotes a high performing and innovative workplace culture;

  • Coordinating day to day operations, including ensuring adequate supplies are maintained;

  • Undertaking ongoing formal and informal education for team members;

  • Actively participating in continuous improvement, including the completion and maintenance of documentation relating to audits;

  • Coordinating a timely team response to changing priorities; and,

  • Regularly undertaking cleaning and / or laundry shifts.


Critical to your success in this role will be the proven ability to demonstrate

  • long term experience in a similar role

  • an understanding of the customer service focus approach of these services

  • effective leadership to staff

  • effective and professional interpersonal and communication skills


In addition you will

  • possess substantial experience in commercial cleaning and laundry

  • maintain a positive Federal police check and an Australian driver’s licence


You may be required to provide information in relation to pre-existing medical conditions or injuries relevant to this position and submit to a pre-employment medical.
