About the role
This is a full time position base in our Support Centre in Milton
The Corporate Accountant will be responsible for:
Preparation of organisational statutory financial statements and assisting with coordination of the whole organisation audit and compliance processes;
Monthly financial accounting, reporting and analysis including advising and working with line of business budget owners;
Preparation of annual and project budgets and assisting with coordination and consolidation of the whole of organisation budget;
Liquidity and treasury management including assessment and recommendation of financing strategies, investments and cash flow forecasting;
Contributing to the ongoing design and implementation of whole of organisation transactional and accounting processes;
Coordination and preparation of whole of organisation financial processes and reporting;
Contributing to financial process improvement and development opportunities;
Supporting the organisational finance function in all aspects of finance including business case development, financial modelling, capital projects, activity costing, financial due diligence etc;
The direct management of two assistant accountants.
Critical to your success in this role will be the proven ability to demonstrate
several years experience in a similar role
strong all round finance knowledge and skills
exceptional written and verbal communication skills
strong attention to detail and problem solving skills
effective teamwork and leadership skills
In addition you
will hold a degree in a Finance related field (membership of ACA or CPA is highly desirable)
possess strong statutory account preparation, audit, budget, systems/data analytics and reporting skills
may be required to maintain a positive federal police check
You will be required to successfully complete a pre-employment medical prior to any offer of employment.
Our Support Centre, located in Milton, provides specialist advice to our services in areas such as finance, human resources, corporate communications, information technology as well as clinical governance.
Our Milton office is located close to Park Road shops and all forms of public transport.
